Rhonda Chartrand

Artist Bio

Rhonda is an Ojibwe Artisan from Sagkeeng First Nation. She learned the art of traditional mukluk and moccasin making through the Storyboot School in 2018 and has been practicing ever since. Rhonda has extended her knowledge with taking the gauntlet class with the storyboot school in 2021, and has self taught herself to make beaded earrings. Now a mother of 4, Rhonda’s hobbies include, beading, sewing and spending time outdoors with her kids. Rhonda hopes to pass down her knowledge to her fellow people. Rhonda’s social page is called Pimose makiziinak which means walk in my shoes in Ojibwe.
